The higher the free cash flow yield, the more cash the company is generating that can be quickly accessed to satisfy its obligations. The lower the free cash flow yield, the more money investors are putting into the company with little result. The higher the ratio, the more attractive the investment is as it suggests that investors are paying less for each unit of free cash flow.
