It also provides third-party contract manufacturing services. The company sells its products through company-owned retail stores and its GNC.com Website, e-commerce and wholesale partnerships, and domestic and international franchise activities under the GNC proprietary brands, as well as other third-party brands. As of December 31, 2019, it had 7,532 GNC store locations worldwide. The company has a strategic partnership with Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co., Ltd. and International Vitamin Corporation. GNC Holdings, Inc. was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On June 23, 2020, GNC Holdings, Inc., along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
