He formerly served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Old Line Bancshares and was a member of the Board of Directors since its incorporation in April of 2003. He joined Old Line Bank as President and Chief Executive Officer and became a member of its Board of Directors in 1994. He has served as Chairman of the Loan Committee and the Assets and Liability Committee and has over 40 years of commercial banking experience. Prior to joining Old Line Bank, he served in many capacities during his 15 years with Citizens Bank of Maryland. Mr. Cornelsen serves on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Bankers Association, Atlantic Community Bankers Bank, the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, United Way of the National Capital Area, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, The Foundation Schools, Maryland Humanities Council, Maryland Theatre for the Performing Arts, Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable and FIS Global CEO Strategic Planning Advisory Council.
